- Accumulator
- A type of parlay where winnings from one selection are placed on the next, increasing potential payout but requiring all picks to win.
- Arbitrage
- Betting on all possible outcomes of an event across different sportsbooks to guarantee a profit regardless of the result.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap that gives a team a fractional goal advantage or disadvantage to eliminate the draw as a betting option.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting.
- Cash Out
- A feature allowing you to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Edge
- The statistical advantage a bettor believes they have over the sportsbook's odds.
- Futures
- A bet placed on an outcome that will be decided later in the tournament, such as which team will win the World Cup.
- Goal Line
- A betting line where you predict whether the total goals in a match will be over or under a set number.
- Hedge
- Placing a bet on the opposite outcome to reduce risk or secure a profit.
- In-Play
- Another term for live betting, referring to wagering during the match.
- Juice
- The commission the sportsbook takes on a bet, usually built into the odds and also called vigorish.
- Kelly Criterion
- A formula used to determine the optimal size of a bet based on your edge and the odds.
- Line Movement
- Changes in the betting odds or point spread over time as more bets are placed.
- Live Betting
- Betting on a match while it is in progress, with odds that update as the game unfolds.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win the match, with odds shown as a positive or negative number indicating the potential payout.
- Odds Boost
- A promotion that increases the payout odds on a specific bet, giving you more potential return.
- Over/Under
- A wager on whether the total goals scored in a match will be more or less than a number set by the sportsbook.
- Parlay
- A single bet that combines two or more selections, all of which must win for the bet to pay out.
- Prop Bet
- A bet on a specific event within a match, such as which player scores first or how many yellow cards are given.
- Square
- A casual or recreational bettor whose betting patterns are more predictable and often less accurate.
- Stake

- Steam
